Want to be Cookie Monster’s best friend? Get in line.
On Monday, the blue Muppet traveled to Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia to meet his brand new friend, a lovable quokka. It’s a match made in heaven. Both creatures are deeply, profoundly fuzzy, and Cookie is also very generous with his cookies — an aspirational quality in any friend, human or monster.
Cookie boldly proclaimed that the quokka was the “happiest animal,” which some/all scientists may contest. Still, this photo makes a compelling case for his theory. Read more…
